Ban Ho Trekking Adventure from Sapa

Embark on a scenic Ban Ho trekking adventure starting from Sapa and discover the serene beauty of northern Vietnam’s highlands. Your journey begins with a ride to the trailhead near Thanh Kim, followed by a gentle descent to the Thanh Phu suspension bridge spanning the peaceful Muong Bo River.

Hike through stunning rice terraces, where free-roaming water buffalo, goats, and pigs from the Tay and Red Dao villages add to the rural charm. Take in panoramic views of the Ban Ho Valley before stopping for a delicious local lunch—either on a hilltop or at a home near Thanh Phu Bridge.

After lunch, follow the river downstream to the Tay minority village of Ban Ho, nestled in a lush, open valley. If weather permits, enjoy a refreshing dip at the Lavie Waterfall, a hidden gem along the trail.

This day hike involves no steep climbs, making it perfect for casual trekkers. The trek covers approximately 5 hours on foot and 2 hours of driving, blending culture, scenery, and soft adventure into one unforgettable Sapa experience.
